With teachers as guides and facilitators, the self-motivated student will take ownership of their learning. Through differentiated instruction, we meet the needs of each individual. Hands-on, collaborative and cross-curricular activities provide the students with multiple pathways to success. We seek to foster polite behavior and discourse amongst our upper school community during daily activities, and develop good citizenship through our expectations that students participate in school wide events. The success of the students relies on the close partnership between the teacher and parent. We welcome every opportunity to work with the families so each child reaches their full potential.
Learning at Aryam School is guided by student interest and development, and national and international standards. We do not use Common Core standards, instead relying on the expertise of our highly qualified teachers and standards delineated by professional organizations such as the National Council of Teachers of Mathematics, the National Science Teachers Association, and the National Council for the Social Studies, and the National Council of Teachers of English.
